Oyster Growers Day

Oyster Growers Day for members in Oban.

It is an opportunity for all Oyster Growers to meet to discuss the joys and benefits of oyster growing in Scotland. It will include discussions around biosecurity, including both Bonamia and Martellia for Native Oysters, and also Herpes and Vibrio of Pacific Oysters. It will include growing techniques, harvesting ideas, marketing problems, seed supply and many other topics. There is no cost for the day and a suggested donation of £5 for lunch is welcome.
